Dr. Donna Matney
Dr. Matney was born and raised in central California amongst oil and agricultural fields. She attended Cal State University Bakersfield and UC Santa Barbara receiving her Bachelor degrees in Biology and Chemistry in 1991. She continued her studies at the Southern California College of Optometry receiving her doctorate of Optometry in 1995. She moved to Seattle in 1995 and started her practice in the Bellevue area where she’s continued to practice for over 20 years.
She is also a writer and has a degree in design. She lives in Issaquah with her two daughters, two dogs and a frog. She and her daughters enjoy camping, crabbing/fishing, hikes, geocaching and working in their garden where 65% of what they attempt to grow either dies or is eaten by crows and raccoons.
Dr. Mina Fordyce
A Washington state native, Dr. Mina Fordyce grew up in Bellevue and graduated from Interlake High School. She performed her undergraduate studies at University of California, Los Angeles, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. From there, she returned to the Pacific Northwest to obtain her Doctorate of Optometry at Pacific University College of Optometry. During her optometric training, she completed internships at Eye Care Associates of Nevada, San Diego Naval Hospital, and Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute in Bellevue.
Dr. Fordyce is an active member of the American Optometric Association and Optometric Physicians of Washington. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, painting, and relaxing with her husband and their dog.
Jaycee was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She has been in the optical field for more than 20 years. She is a Washington state licensed optician, ABO, and NCLE certified. Her favorite part of her job is helping patients select the perfect eyewear.
She lives in Sultan with her husband, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 5 fish, and of course the chickens. She is an avid Seahawks fan. She also enjoys baking, hiking, fishing, and clam digging.
Lauren is excited to be back in her hometown of Seattle, after nearly twenty years in Traverse City, Mi. She attended Grand Valley State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in statistics. As a certified optical technician (CPO), she enjoys connecting with patients and training new contact lens wearers.
In her spare time she enjoys dancing, baking cupcakes, and cheering on the Seahawks. She also loves to explore the Pacific Northwest and go hiking, sailing, and kayaking.
